Once again, the new year brings with it the bad news that the clubs principal supplier, Carlsberg Tetley, plan to implement a price rise across their range of products. This year the rise equates to 4.8% (approximately 9p per pint) and will take effect from Monday 9^th January.

However, the committee have been in determined negotiation with the brewery on behalf of the members and have reached an agreement which allows the club to maintain its current bar prices.



We hope members will be as delighted as the committee with this achievement - particularly in these difficult financial times when every penny counts.
