Lea Roberts at Batley You may recognise Lea's face from seeing him unanimously win the ITV Comedy talent show - "Stand Up Britain" in 2002, going out live on ITV1. The show broadcasted live regional telephone voting and it was obvious that half way through the count that Lea had convincingly won the competition! The previous year he had finished runner up in the Bachelors "Cup A Soup Comedy Challenge" performing at the Comedy Store, London. Clearly Lea's star was on the rise. In 2004 he was invited back by ITV to perform on "That's Entertainment" - a big budget UK variety showcase. Since then Lea has become one of the most sought after comedians on the corporate, sporting and cabaret markets.

Lea Roberts, Halifax RLFC A former player for Halifax RLFC, Lea has always had a keen interest in sport and fitness. His knowledge of most sports means conversation never dries up at the "Top Table" and regardless of who he is working for, he always maintains a genuine passion for the club's cause. Even now, having worked with some of the worlds biggest sporting icons, Lea still looks forward to sitting with one of the sporting heroes from his childhood! In 2008 alone, Lea entertained alongside Ricky Hatton, Alan Hansen, Steve Davis, Sean Fitzpatrick, Shane Warne and Sir Richard Hadlee.
