Holmfirth Cricket Club has been at the heart of the local community in the Holme Valley for over 150 years. The Club's Bridge Fold home is located close to the centre of Holmfirth, a thriving Pennine town some eight miles from Huddersfield.

Holmfirth Cricket Club is a caring and community focused club. Our aim is to ensure that all our members are given the best opportunities to achieve their full potential in the beautiful game of cricket.

The Club runs two open age teams - the 1st XI plays in the Premiership - the top level of the Huddersfield League. We also have a thriving Junior Section, where young boys and girls are given high quality coaching to recognised ECB standards, and are given opportunities to develop their cricketing skills in a fun, caring and safe environment. We run teams in the Huddersfield Junior Cricket Leagues at Under 11, 13 and 15 levels, and we have a very active group of younger cricketers, who play in local tournaments and competitions.

The Club is currently developing new facilities to further improve the coaching opportunities for our junior players. In recognition of the Club's efforts to develop junior cricket, the ECB have recently awarded Holmfirth Cricket Club the "Clubmark".
